- 1984-93 FX series Big Twin models, 1985-93 FL series Big Twin models and 1986-93 XL series Sportster models
- The Hi-4 features advanced RISC microcontroller technology that allows adjustable advance and rev limit
- A timing LED indicates static timing (top dead center) and gives diagnostic information
- Two starting modes are provided: electric start and kick start
- A tach output gives accurate tach readings even at the rev limit
